Indian actor Sidharth Malhotra, who performs in Hindi films, was born on January 16, 1985. He started out as a fashion model, but he later switched to acting. Before aiding director Karan Johar on the 2010 movie My Name Is Khan, he played roles in television. In Johar’s teen movie Student of the Year, he played the lead for the first time (2012).

Malhotra then appeared in financially lucrative movies like Kapoor & Sons, Ek Villain, and Hasee Toh Phasee (2016). He experienced a decline in his career before receiving recognition for playing Vikram Batra in the war movie Shershaah (2021), which led to a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Following the success of Kapoor & Sons, Malhotra starred alongside Katrina Kaif in the romantic comedy Baar Baar Dekho as a mathematician who travels through time. Karan Johar produced the film through Dharma Productions and Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani through Excel Entertainment. The film, directed by Nitya Mehra, received mixed to negative reviews from critics and flopped at the box office.
Later that year, he co-starred in the action comedy A Gentleman with Jacqueline Fernandez from writer-director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., which was produced by Fox Star Studios; despite being highly anticipated, the film received a lukewarm reception. Both films did poorly at the box office.

The 32-year-old actor, who was most recently seen in Ittefaq, abruptly decided to leave Twitter and Instagram, writing, “Sorry, I am done!” He immediately removed his profile picture and changed his bio to “off” on Instagram and Twitter. Nobody knows what prompted him to unfollow him on social media.
