UNLV football player Ryan Keeler passed away suddenly in Las Vegas on Monday. His passing saddens his friends and comrades.

Keeler, a defensive lineman from Chicago, Illinois, who was 20 years old, had just completed his redshirt freshman season.
The Nazareth Academy alumnus transferred to UNLV last season from Rutgers University. He made eight tackles while playing in seven games.
After graduating from high school, he received numerous scholarship offers due to his high demand. He earned a 3.80 GPA and was majoring in business.

Head football coach of UNLV Barry Odom issued the following statement following his terrible passing:
“Although I had the privilege of knowing Ryan for only a few months, he already stood out to our coaching staff as an amazing guy, student, and teammate. We are heartbroken to have lost a member of our Rebel family. We send Ryan’s family our thoughts and prayers as we mourn this tragic loss with them.”
