Jordan Dorrell Hawkins, born on April 29, 2002 is the son of Craig and Jasmine Hawkins.

Hawkins first attended Gaithersburg High School, where he was raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
For Jordan Hawkins’ second year, he changed to DeMatha Catholic High School.

As a senior, Hawkins averaged 19.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game. He was voted the Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year.
Jordan Hawkins, a four-star prospect, chose UConn over offers from Louisville, Marquette, Xavier, and Seton Hall to play collegiate basketball.
Although a rookie season that was derailed by injuries at the start and the end, Jordan shown flashes of the athleticism and shooting prowess that made him a Top 50 prospect by consensus coming out of high school.
Jordan Hawkins was excellent enough to be chosen to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team after participating in 27 games with four starts.
In the 2022–23 season, he is anticipated to make a significant contribution and shoulder the most of the scoring load.
