Nina Nunes is well-known as the wife of a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist Amanda Nunes.

Aside from being a celebrity lesbian partner, Nina is an American former mixed martial artist who most competed in the women’s flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

A native of Florida, Nina began practicing Taekwondo at the age of 6 and wrestled during her high school days at Lake Region High School.

She began training in mixed martial arts in 2009 as a way to lose weight and to help keep in shape following a motorcycle accident.

After competing in the Invicta FC for three years, Nina was then promoted to Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2014.

Following her UFC debut fight against Juliana Lima on November 8, 2014, at UFC Fight Night 56, Nina lost the fight via unanimous decision.

Throughout her career, Nina has fought 18 matches. She has 11 wins, 7 losses, and 0 draws.

Nina Nunes and Amanda Nunes initially met before coming to the UFC. The couple trained together at Nunes’ former gym American Top Team (ATT). Nina and Amanda hit it off after meeting at the gym.

The couple got engaged in 2018. However, their wedding date is unknown.

Nina and Amanda welcome their first child a daughter on September 24, 2020.
