Kyle Anderson was involved in an altercation with his teammate, Rudy Gobert during their match against New Orleans today, Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Footage showed Anderson and Gobert having a heated argument before Gobert threw a punch in anger. They were separated by coaches and players before it got serious. Gobert was ruled out for the remainder of the game and was even sent home. During the second quarter of the match, the Wolves were losing 55-47 in the game.

Wolves President of Basketball Operations, Tim Connelly said in a statement after the incident;
“We made the decision to send Rudy Gobert home after the incident in the second quarter. His behavior on the bench was unacceptable and will continue handling the situation internally.“
