The Cameroonian national team is led by professional footballer Vincent Aboubakar. According to reports, Vincent Aboubakar made his international debut in May 2010 and has since earned more than 90 caps for Cameroon.
The current Süper Lig winners Beşiktaş acquired Aboubakar on loan for the entire 2016–17 campaign on August 27, 2016.

He debuted for the Istanbul-based team on September 10 by taking Olcay Ahan’s place for the final six minutes of a 3-1 home victory over Kardemir Karabükspor.

His first goal came in his eighth game, a 3-2 Champions League victory over Napoli on October 19, 2016, giving his team their first victory in the competition since November 2009.
