American businessman, mechanic, and television personality Jesse James was born on April 19, 1969. He is the owner of West Coast Choppers, the CEO of Jesse James Guns Unlimited, a former partner of Austin Speed Shop, and the creator of West Coast Choppers, all of which are situated in Austin, Texas.

In his television series Jesse James: Monster Garage, which had a single, condensed season in 2012 on the Discovery Channel before it was canceled, he was the subject of a program that documented some of the custom motorbike projects.

James served as the host of the reality television programs Monster Garage and Jesse James Is a Dead Man on Spike TV and Discovery, respectively. He was also the subject of the documentary Motorcycle Mania, which aired on Discovery.
He also made an appearance in the Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 skateboarding video game from 2004.
