Ryan Bingham is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor whose music spans multiple genres.

Ryan Bingham was born in the town of Hobbs, New Mexico. Ryan Bingham has not shared the names of his parents. His dad had been a star quarterback for Hobbs High School and his mom was the homecoming queen.
His family moved to the Midland-Odessa area of West Texas before settling in Houston. He primarily attended Westfield High School in Houston for high school.
When Bingham was 16, his mother bought him his first guitar. Despite his interest in music, he kept his guitar in his closet.
A year later, Bingham hitchhiked back west to Laredo, Texas, in the hopes of finding work with his father, carrying the guitar with him.

Ryan Bingham’s father enjoyed having neighbours over for a beer on their porch, and one of them taught him a traditional Mariachi song called “La Malaguena” in segments.
Ryan’s mother committed suicide, and his father drank herself to death. The song “Never Far Behind” by Bingham from his Tomorrowland album is about his parents.
