Jota, also known as Diogo José Teixeira da Silva, is a professional football player from Portugal. For Liverpool, a Premier League club, and the Portugal national team, he either plays as a forward or a winger.

Jota’s career began with Paços de Ferreira, then in 2016, he joined La Liga team Atlético Madrid. Later, he was loaned to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English EFL
Championship in 2017 and FC Porto in the Primeira Liga in 2016, assisting both teams in winning promotion to the Premier League.
