Argentine professional football manager and former player Diego Martn Cocca was born on February 11, 1972. He is the squad’s head coach for the national football team of Mexico.

Cocca assumed charge of Comisión de Actividades Infantiles in the second division of Argentina as his entry into management.
After then-coach Daniel Oldrá resigned to return to the club’s junior divisions on October 29, 2008, he assumed management responsibilities at Godoy Cruz, a team in the first division. Cocca left Godoy Cruz on November 3, 2009.
Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata recruited Cocca as head coach on December 23, 2009, under a one-year contract.

After overcoming Atlético de Rafaela in the relegation playoff, the ex-defender assisted Gimnasia in 2009–10 in avoiding relegation from the first level.
However, due to the team’s poor performance at the beginning of the season, Cocca resigned from his managing position after the eighth game of the 2010–11 campaign.
