The Italian professional football coach and former player Roberto De Zerbi is the current head coach of Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion.
As a player, Zerbi started his football journey at the AC Milan youth team before being promoted to the senior side in 1998.
Zerbi also had stints with Foggia (2002–2004), Arezzo (2004–2005), Catania (2005–2006), Napoli (2006–2010), CFR Cluj (2010–2012), and Trento (2013).

After his playing career, Zerbi started coaching Darfo Boario where he stayed from November 19, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
He then spent two years with Calcio Foggia before signing as the head coach of Palermo football club on September 6, 2016. Zerbi was sacked on November 30, 2016, due to seven consecutive defeats and no points at home in three months.
Before Zerbi succeeded Graham Potter as the head coach of Premier League team Brighton & Hove Albion on September 18, 2022, he previously coached Benevento (2017–2018), Sassuolo (2018–2021), and Shakhtar Donetsk (2021–2022).
