Zach Parise is an American professional ice hockey left winger for the National Hockey League’s (NHL) New York Islanders. Zach Parise and his wife Alisha Woods are parents of three children.

They had twins named Jaxson and Emelia together in 2014. In 2018, they welcomed a son named Theodore.
Zach Praise was drafted 17th overall by the Devils in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and went pro after his sophomore season, spending a year with the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League (AHL).
For the 2005-06 season, Parise joined the Devils. Parise had his best NHL season in 2008-09, when he was the League’s third-leading goal scorer (45), trailing only Jeff Carter (46), and NHL leader Alexander Ovechkin (56) while ranking fifth in points with 94.

Zach Parise has represented the United States at a variety of events. He helped the United States ice hockey team win gold at the 2004 World Junior Championships, where he was named Most Valuable Player, Best Forward and made the Tournament All-Star Team.
Zach Parise served as an alternate captain for the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics, scoring the tying goal late in the gold medal game against Canada to force overtime. Parise was also named captain of the Winter Olympics in 2014.
