Julie McKnight is a singer-songwriter who was married to Brian McKnight an American singer, songwriter, and record producer.

The former couple got married in 1990 after meeting in college.  They have two children, Brian Jr. and Niko. They divorced in 2003.  Julia, according to reports, raised their children while he was busy making music and touring.

Julie McKnight has worked with and provided guest vocals for Earth, Wind and Fire, The Emotions, and her ex-husband, Brian McKnight.

Coming into her own in the late ’90s, Julie let her own star shine brightly, winning honours for “Finally” at the 2001 MTV2 Dancestar Music Awards Song of the Year, Best Vocalist, and Best live PA nominations at the 2005 Dance Music Awards.

Julie has rocked the house at the majority of the world’s hottest stages, festivals, and nightclubs, from New York and San Francisco to the Isle of Ibiza. Her solo project was released in 2008. On the Jay Omega-produced smash, he provided lead vocals.
