Shaquil Barrett is an American football player who currently plays as an outside linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League (NFL).
He was born on November 17, 1992, in Baltimore, Maryland, and he played college football at the University of Nebraska-Omaha before transferring to Colorado State University.
Shaquil Barrett entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2014, signing with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Broncos for five seasons, from 2014 to 2018, before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019.
His level of play increased, making the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams in 2019 after leading the league in sacks, and in 2021 won Super Bowl LV. Shaquil Barrett is known for his pass-rushing ability and his versatility as a linebacker.

Shaquil Barrett, a linebacker with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, lost his life this past weekend. Barrett’s daughter Arrayah went suddenly at the residence of the family early on Sunday morning.

The youngest of Barrett’s four children with his wife Jordanna was Arrayah.

Arrayah Barrett, the daughter of Shaquil Barrett, was born on April 19, 2021. As of April 30, 2023, she was 2 years old. On Sunday morning, Arrayah perished in the family’s south Tampa home’s pool.

What happened to Arrayah Barrett?

 

Just before 9:30 a.m., according to Tampa Police, police were called to Barrett’s residence in the Beach Park neighbourhood of Tampa in regard to a youngster who had fallen into a pool. The youngster was sent to a local hospital. Despite efforts to save the child’s life, they were declared unsuccessful soon after.
