Jamal Murray, the point guard for the Denver Nuggets, “should be good to go” for Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns, according to head coach Michael Malone.

Due to a non-COVID ailment that Malone described as a “little bug going around the team,” Murray’s status was reduced to doubtful on Thursday.
Through five games, the point guard has played superbly for the Nuggets, scoring more than any other player on the club in Games 1 and 3.

The Nuggets would probably turn to their backups Christian Braun and Bruce Brown if Murray were unable to play.
Point guards Ish Smith and Reggie Jackson, who are on Denver’s postseason roster, have both played a sparse amount of minutes.
