Douglas William Squires was a British choreographer best recognized for his work on television beginning in the mid-1950s. He was born in the city of Nottingham.

He has choreographed ensembles for television such as The Dougie Squires Dancers, Dougie Squires’ Second Generation, and The Dougie Squires Dozen.
In addition to his television work, he has been involved in theatre plays and fundraising events. In 2009, he was given the Order of the British Empire for services to the performing arts, and in 2017, he was made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO) for services to royal pageant choreography and stage direction.

Dougie Squires. the famous British Choreographer died on 21 May 2023 at the age of 91. The cause of his death however is unknown but he will continue to be a legend in our hearts and his work of art will continue to be a masterpiece.
