Former Burnley player and current Barnsley manager Michael Duff was born on January 11, 1978, in Northern Ireland. He played as a defender for Burnley, Carterton Town, Cheltenham Town, and Cirencester Town (on loan) throughout the course of a career that lasted from 1995 to 2016, making over 700 appearances overall. Duff played 24 times for Northern Ireland at the international level.
