Mekia Cox became well-known for playing the recurring character of Sasha in the second and third seasons of the much-liked CW drama “90210,” as well as for playing Dr. Robyn Charles in the NBC medical drama “Chicago Med.”

Cox’s dancing prowess was on display in the Michael Jackson concert series “This Is It” and the accompanying movie, when she was chosen from among hundreds of applications to be one of the featured dancers.

She also portrayed Lizzy Gilliam in the NBC spy thriller “Undercovers,” Princess Tiana in the ABC fairy tale drama “Once Upon A Time,” and Detective Nyla Harper in the ABC police drama “The Rookie.”
