Jean-Claude Van Damme Fourth Wife: Who is Darcy LaPier?

Darcy Lynn LaPier is an American former actress and model. She is the fourth wife of Belgian actor and retired martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme.

The former couple married in Bangkok, Thailand in February 1994. This marriage produced a son, Nicholas van Varenberg who was born October 10, 1995.

Jean-Claude Van Damme and his fourth wife, Darcy LaPier,  had a difficult relationship, to say the least. LaPier filed for divorce three times during their marriage, including when their son was born.

Van Damme reportedly questioned whether Nicholas was his child. LaPier called it quits for good in 1997, and things only got worse for JCVD when LaPier claimed she was “too afraid” to be with her husband due to his alleged “physical and mental abuse,” as well as cocaine addiction.

As a result, Van Damme appears to have lost contact with his young son. He told The Sun in 2009, without revealing the details of the custody arrangement, “The custody case is very painful.” California’s legal system is insane. It’s a disaster for me not to see my child.”
