Andy Mientus is a singer and actor from the United States. Andy Mientus is the husband of Micheal Arden, an American actor, singer, musician, and theatre director.

The couple has been married since August 18, 2016. They got married at Babington House in Somerset, England. He and Arden had planned to propose to each other on the same day on June 23, 2014, but neither knew.

They began dating on November 14, 2010. The two first met on October 26, 2006, at the opening night party for Arden’s Broadway show, The Times They Are A-Changin’.

Andy Mientus is best known for his roles in the Broadway musicals Spring Awakening, Les Misérables, and Wicked, as well as his roles on television in the NBC musical drama Smash and as Hartley Rathaway / Pied Piper in The Flash.

Mientus suffers from Hereditary Neuropathy with Pressure Palsies, a rare neurological disorder. His foot went numb during his freshman ballet class at the University of Michigan, forcing him to miss the rest of the year. After that, he was assigned to a stage tech class, where he met fellow actor Darren Criss.
