Canadian movie director Jason Priestley had a car racing accident in Kentucky in 2002. He had “crashed head-on into a wall at nearly 180 mph”, and sustained a head and spinal cord injury.

He was admitted at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, where he received treatment.

Jason has appeared in many films and TV series such as “Beverly Hills”, “90210”, “Call Me Fitz”, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager: “Slice of Life”, “Just Say No”, Side Order of Life, “My Name Is Earl’, “The Day of the Triffids”, and the Global TV Network comedy–drama series “Private Eyes.”

As a director, he directed films like “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” “Scoundrels,” and “Working the Engels.”
