Avril Lavigne is a Canadian singer-songwriter, widely regarded as Queen of “Pop-Punk” music or “Pop-Punk Queen.”

Born on September 27, 1984, in Ontario, Canada, Avril first signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records when she was 16 years of age.
She went on to release her debut album, Let Go (2002), which became a best-seller, and spawned hit singles like “Complicated” and “Sk8er Boi”.
Avril released her second studio album, Under My Skin (2004), which ranked top on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, and sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

Subsequently, she released other albums like The Best Damn Thing (2007), Goodbye Lullaby (2011), Avril Lavigne (2013), Head Above Water (2019), and Love Sux (2022), all of which also achieved commercial success.
The eight-time Grammy Awards nominee was first married to Sum 41 lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Deryck Whibley in 2006, but they divorced in 2010.
She also dated The Hills star Brody Jenner for two years.
In 2013, Avril and Chad Kroeger, got married, following their musical collaboration on her fifth album. Unfortunately, in 2015, Avril announced via her official Instagram account that she and Kroeger were getting a divorce.
