Who is Mike Babcock’s Wife Maureen Babcock?

Maureen Babcock is the wife of Mike Babcock a Canadian ice hockey coach who has had a long and successful career in the sport.

Mike and his wife, Maureen have three children: Alexandra, Michael III, and Taylor.

Mike Babcock currently serves as the head coach of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets. He was a professional and head coach in the National Hockey League (NHL) for parts of eighteen seasons.

He began as head coach of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, which he led to the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals. Babcock joined the Detroit Red Wings in 2005, won the Stanley Cup with them in 2008 and guiding them to the Stanley Cup playoffs every year throughout his career, becoming the Red Wings’ winningest coach.

He departed Detroit in 2015 to become coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, a job he held until 2019. He was hired head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets on July 1, 2023. As of July 2023, he is the only coach to gain entry to the Triple Gold Club (Stanley Cup title, IIHF World Championship title, and Olympic gold medal in men’s ice hockey)
