Who Is Zion Suzuki?
Zion Suzuki is the current goalkeeper for the Japanese football club Urawa Red Diamonds.
Born on August 21, 2002, in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States, to a Japanese mother and a Ghanaian father, Suzuki began playing football at a young age.

Suzuki joined the Urawa Reds at age 16, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to sign a professional contract.

In 2021, he made his junior debut in a match against Vegalta Sendai. So far he has won a few honours being a player for the Reds, including the Emperor’s Cup in 2021, the Japanese Super Cup, and the AFC Champions League in 2022.
Suzuki has additionally played for Japan at the U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels, and won his first cap with the senior team, during the 2022 EAFF E-1 Football Championship.
Following an impressive 2022 season, there are speculations that Suzuki might be transferred to Manchester United.
