She also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live while performing with the Josh Abbott Band on television! Pearce began attracting the interest of other Nashville record labels that same year. Nevertheless, despite their shared curiosity, they all opted not to sign her.
In a Forbes interview, Pearce recounted getting advice from pros in the field to go back home or choose different career options. However, Busbee created a song that year called “Every Little Thing,” which Pearce co-wrote.

In February 2017, “Every Little Thing” was formally released as a song to country radio. It peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and attained the top place on the Billboard Country Airplay chart by November of that year, signaling the song’s success.
The song garnered Pearce a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America after selling more than 500,000 copies in the country.
The following year, she released her first studio album, also titled “Every Little Thing,” which debuted at number four on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Additionally, it rose to position 32 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
