Brazilian female mixed martial artist Mayra Bueno Silva competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) Bantamweight division. Her birthday is August 22, 1991. She is currently ranked #10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as of March 7, 2023.

Silva, who was raised in Uberlandia, moved to Campinas and So Paulo in January 2015, a few months before she started her professional MMA career, and has been living there and working out there ever since.
She began her fighting career in 2016, and in a short period of time, she established a reputation in the local Brazilian MMA scene. Silva competed in three fights, winning each one, and even winning the Batalha MMA Bantamweight title.

Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil 1 was drawn to her remarkable performances, and after she submitted Mayana Souza dos Santos with a ninja choke in the opening round, she was offered a contract by the UFC.
On September 22, 2018, at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Anders, Silva made her UFC debut. Silva won the opening round by submission over her opponent, Gillian Robertson.
Silva took on Maryna Moroz on March 14, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Lee vs. Oliveira. Despite her valiant efforts, she was defeated by a unanimous verdict. She did, however, win the Fight of the Night prize for her efforts.
