At the beginning of his career, Clark played with the academy at Birmingham City, and later, the academy at Newcastle United.

Clark has represented England’s U15, U16, & U18 teams, making his U25 debut in 2019, his U16 debut in 2021, and his U18 debut against the Netherlands in 2022.
He has so far made nine appearances and scored one goal for the country.
Clark joined Liverpool in 2021, for a fee of £1.5 million, and a signed five-year contract.
He went ahead to make his professional debut appearing as a substitute for the club in a match against AFC Bournemouth. He also played with the team during the EFL Cup at Anfield.
