Toni Payne, a forward for Sevilla FC of the Spanish Liga F and the Nigeria women’s national team, was born in the United States on 22 April 1995.
Payne was an AFC Ajax player from 2016 until 2018. She began working at Sevilla in June 2018 on a one-year contract, which was then extended for a further two years in 2019.

Payne said in 2019 that she would retire from international competition with Nigeria. On February 18, 2021, she started her senior debut at the Turkish Women’s Cup against the Russian club CSKA Moscow.
