American actor, Marc Gilpin who gained popularity when he was very young, has been reported dead. According to sources, he died after a long battle with glioblastoma.

Born on September 26, 1966, he booked his first national commercial, a spot for Exxon, when he was just 4 years old. He also appeared on a 1977 episode of the Saturday morning NBC series Thunder.
Gilpin was also hired as Sean Brody in the 1978 sequel to the blockbuster Jaws in 1975, which was directed by Steven Spielberg. He was just 11 years old when the movie hit the theatres,

In 1976, he guest-starred on NBC’s CHiPs and appeared with his sister, April on ABC’s Fantasy Island. He also starred in The Legend of the Long Ranger, Earthbound, and more, in 1981.
