Pius Suter is a 27 year old Swiss professional ice hockey forward for the Vancouver Canucks. Suter was born on May 24, 1996, in Zurich, Switzerland.

He began his professional hockey career in Switzerland, playing for the ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League (NL). Suter committed to a four-year contract extension with the Lions through the 2022-23 season on November 28, 2018.
He concluded the 2019-20 season as the league’s PostFinance Top Scorer, with 53 points in 50 regular-season games, including 30 goals. He was also selected regular-season MVP.

Pius left the NL and the ZSC Lions on July 13, 2020, in order to pursue a career in North America and the NHL. He signed a one-year entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2020.
He made his NHL debut during the 2020-2021 season with the Blackhawks. He became the first Swiss player in NHL history to record a hat trick, achieving this feat in a game against the Detroit Red Wings during the 2020-2021 season. Suter signed a two-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks as an unrestricted free agent on August 11, 2023.
