Caelan Doris is an Irish professional rugby union player who currently plays as the number eight for Leinster in the United Rugby Championship and for the Ireland national side.

His first rugby experience was with Ballina. From the age of 12, he attended boarding school at Blackrock College in Dublin, where he was a member of the winning Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup squad in 2014, as well as captaining the 2016 team.
Doris was promoted two years early to Leinster’s senior squad ahead of the 2018-19 season, after only one year in the academy and having made his senior debut the previous season, after a string of excellent performances captaining the Ireland Under-20s.
