Iain Henderson, an Irish professional rugby union player (born February 21, 1992), has been chosen for two tours with the British & Irish Lions and plays as a lock for United Rugby Championship side Ulster and the Ireland national team. Since the year 2019, he has served as Ulster’s captain.

He received two honors: Young Player of the Year and Personality of the Year at the Ulster Rugby Awards in 2013 and 2021, respectively. He was a member of the Ulster squad that advanced to the Pro12 Grand Final in 2013 and the Pro14 Grand Final in 2020.

Prior to the 2019–20 season, he was named Ulster’s captain, succeeding the departing Rory Best. In January 2019, he made his 100th appearance for Ulster against Leicester Tigers in the European Rugby Champions Cup.
