Jerry Fontenot is an American football coach and former center who played for the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on November 21, 1966. The Bears selected him in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft. He studied at Texas A&M University.

Between 2006 and 2015, Fontenot worked for the Green Bay Packers as an assistant offensive line coach and tight ends coach. Fontenot was dismissed on January 19, 2016. He was hired as the offensive line coach for the XFL’s Los Angeles Wildcats in 2019. Fontenot participated in collegiate football for the Texas A&M Aggies. Fontenot was selected with pick number 65 in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft.
