Akhil Mishra was an Indian cinema and television actor who appeared in films including Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Gandhi, My Father, and Pradhanmantri. He was a character in the TV show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se.

He rose to prominence after appearing as Librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots and as Umed Singh Bundela in Uttaran. He also appeared in the film Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain.
Akhil Mishra, 67, died on September 21, 2023, from a fall in his kitchen. The actor had been ill for some time due to blood pressure problems.

Suzanne Bernert: Meet Akhil Mishra’s second wife
In 1983, Akhil Mishra married Manju Mishra, who died in 1997.
On 3 February 2009, Mishra married German actress Suzanne Bernert. On September 30, 2011, they remarried in a traditional ceremony.
He had previously collaborated with Suzanne in the film Kram, the serial Mera Dil Dewaana (Doordarshan), and on stage. Mishra created, acted in, and directed a short film called “Majnu ki Juliet” in 2019.
