He performed admirably at the PC Financial Open, finishing second twice before losing to Drew Weaver in a playoff. He received a medal at the Web.com Tour qualifying competition in December 2015, which qualified him for the whole 2016 season.
While he continued to thrive on the Web.com Tour in January 2018, Svensson won his first championship at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic. He finished 14th in the regular season money list, earning him a PGA Tour card for the next season.
Sadly, he was stripped of his card after his debut year and placed 167th in the FedEx Cup standings. He persisted though, and in March 2021, while competing on the now-known Korn Ferry Tour, he took home the Club Car Championship.

As part of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals in August 2021, he took home the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. Despite having a PGA Tour card for the upcoming season, this victory raised his priority position for the PGA Tour in 2021–2022.
