Adama Samba Niane was a French actor.

Niane graduated from the Paris III Institute of Theatrical Studies before following a theatrical training with Philippe Duclos at the Ateliers du TGP (Ateliers Gérard Philipe).
During the ’80s, he regularly performed on stage in a variety of plays before landing TV and film roles.
The actor was known for his role as assassin and ex-convict Leonard Kone in Lupin, which is based on the novels by France’s Maurice LeBlanc, who created the character in 1905.

Niane also starred in other films and tv series including L’île aux 30 cercueils (2022), Alex Hugo (2021), Maroni (2018–2021), Sam (2019–2021), Inhuman Resources (2020), Get In (2019), Imposture (2017), Gang of the Caribbean (2016), The Last Panthers (2015), Plus belle la vie (2009), Lost Signs (2007), Baise-moi (2000), No Hiding Place (1993), Commissaire Moulin (1992), and many others.
Adama Niane died on January 29, 2023, at age 56 in France.
