He led his team to a 6A state championship as a senior with 83 catches for 1,371 yards and 13 touchdowns.

He attended Ole Miss for his undergraduate studies, majoring in General Studies with concentrations in Education, Journalism, and Legal Studies.

In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Brown was taken by the Tennessee Titans as their 51st overall pick.

He had agreed to a $5,641,199, four-year contract with the team.

Brown was traded for Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022.
