Allan Lazard is a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets. He is the son of Kevin Lazard and Mary Lazard.

His father, Kevin, played football at Iowa State from 1990-93. He was named co-captain as a senior (1993), registering 50 tackles and two interceptions at defensive back.
Allen’s brother, Anthony, played football at Iowa State (2013-16). Allan Lazard attended Urbandale High School. Lazard still holds the school career records in receptions (105), receiving yards (2,349), touchdowns (34) and interceptions (14)
Coming out of high school, Lazard was a highly regarded recruit who was awarded a USA Today High School All-American. He attended Iowa State University, where he showcased his skills as a standout receiver for the Cyclones.

During his college career, he set numerous records. Lazard was named First-Team All-Big 12 in both 2016 and 2017 and he leads Iowa State in receptions and receiving yards. Despite his impressive performances in college, Lazard faced the disappointment of going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.
However, his determination and perseverance led him to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. On March 17, 2023, Lazard signed a four-year, $44 million contract with the New York Jets
