Thomas is one of only three athletes in NCAAW history to have six career triple-doubles, and she leads the University of Maryland in scoring, rebounding, and double-doubles for both the men’s and women’s teams. The only WNBA player with nine triple-doubles is Thomas. Thomas was named the 2011 ACC Rookie of the Year and chosen for the All-ACC Second Team during her first year.
