His mother, Anaida, hails from Germany.

Andreas Pereira is a Belgian-Brazilian footballer who plays the midfielder position for Premier League club Fulham, as well as Brazil and Belgium national teams.
Pereira was born on January 1, 1996, in Duffel, Belgium, to a Brazilian father, and began his football career in Lommel United at a very young age, before he joined Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

Pereira further played for Manchester United in the youth league, and later made his first Premier League appearance with the team in 2015.
Pereira ended up playing on loan for “Spanish clubs Granada and Valencia, Italian club Lazio and Brazilian club Flamengo.”
In 2022, Pereira began playing for Fulham after signing a four-year contract.
On the international front, Pereira plays for both Belgium and Brazil. He appeared in many international matches for Belgium’s under-15, under-16 and under-17 teams.
He has also represented Brazil in several FIFA World Cup tournaments.
