Andrew Bogut is a retired basketball player who spent 14 years playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Born on November 28, 1984, in Melbourne, Victoria, Bogut played college basketball with the Utah Utes, where he won the national player of the year honors.
In 2005, Bogut was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks as first overall pick in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft.
While with the Bucks, Bogut earned an All-NBA Third Team honors, was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team, and earned all-league honors, after averaging a career-high 15.9 points with 10.2 rebounds per game.
After five years with the Bucks, Bogut was traded to the Golden State Warriors, where he was named an NBA All-Defensive Second Team, and won an NBA championship.
He was again traded to the Dallas Mavericks, and also went on to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Sydney Kings.

Aside from the NBA, Bogut represented Australia at the 2004 Athens Olympics, the 2006 FIBA World Championship. and the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
