Anthony Quinn, the Academy Award-winning actor best known for his roles as the tough hero of “Zorba the Greek” in 1964 and the fearsome Bedouin chieftain in “Lawrence of Arabia” in 1962, suddenly passed away at the age of 86.

The First Baptist Church in America at College Hill, Providence, Rhode Island, hosted Quinn’s funeral.
His wife petitioned Bristol officials for permission to bury him in his preferred location in the backyard of his home, close to a large maple tree.
