Anya Banerjee, a 2020 graduate, has been cast as Siya Malik in the tenth and final season of the television series The Blacklist, which premiered on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Siya Malik is portrayed as an operator with Britain’s M16, as well as the daughter of late CIA spy Meera Malik.

The Blacklist first aired in 2013 and follows the lives of Raymond “Red” Reddington, who is played by James Spader, well known for his appearances in Sex, Lies, and Videotape and Boston Legal. The first eight seasons of the show centered on Reddington’s collaboration with rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen, played by Megan Boone from Law & Order: SVU.

Following Boone’s resignation and on-screen death, however, The Blacklist has turned its focus away from the partnership and toward the ensemble cast of the FBI task force dedicated to combating the persons on the blacklist.
