Kanye fans were taken aback when Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah’s brilliant Jeen-Yuhs, a three-part documentary charting Kanye’s career from its earliest days, was revealed.

The first half of the documentary, which will premiere on Netflix on February 16, 2022, will give fans an unprecedented peek into the “Donda” hitmaker’s early career as well as how his friendship with Coodie came to be.

Kanye and Coodie were just two Chicago talents attempting to make their place in their respective areas back in the early days of their respective careers.
