Arthur Ray Briles is an American football coach who is presently the head coach of the Italian Football League’s Guelfi Firenze.

Briles was the Houston Cougars’ head coach from 2002 to 2007, then the Baylor Bears’ head coach from 2008 to 2015.

Briles has agreed to return to coach the Guelfi Firenze in the Italian Football League in 2022.

Briles guided the squad to a 6-2 regular season record and three playoff victories (9-2 overall) before defeating the Milano Seamen 21-17 in the 41st Italian Bowl championship game on July 2, 2022.
