Austin’s mother Stephanie Barnes, a Mexican-American is a hairstylist. She is the sister of baseball player Mike Gallego, who played  Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals.

Stephanie works as a hairstylist at The Ivy Salon and Spa in Riverside, California.

While his father Dennis works as Sr. Loan Officer at Provident Savings Bank in Riverside, California, United States.

Stephanie Barnes and Dennis Barnes are sports enthusiasts and have been very supportive of their son Austin’s career.

Stephanie Barnes and Dennis Barnes have been married for years. Through their union, the duo shares four children; three sons, Austin Barnes, Dylan Barnes and Griffin Barnes, and a daughter, Savannah Barnes.

Austin Barnes plays catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball. Griffin Barnes played catcher for Grand Canyon University and signed with the Los Angeles Angels.
