Brandon Smith, best known by his stage name B. Smyth, an American hip hop and R&B recording artist and dancer who released his single “Twerkoholic Part 2” died on Nov. 17, 2022 at age 28.

He died after losing a battle with pulmonary fibrosis, according to his brother Denzil who wrote on Instagram;
“Today regretfully I have to announce that my brother has passed away this morning from respiratory failure after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.”
“My brother was very excited to see a lot of you create challenges for his latest released single #Twerkoholic part 2 while he was in the ICU, it really brought him a big smile to his face.”
“So on behalf of my brother and my family we want to say thank you to all of you for all of your love & support throughout the years.”

His fan-favorite tune “Twerkoholic” followed in 2014, gathering in excess of 13 million streams on Spotify.
“Twerkoholic Part 2” dropped just a month ago.
