Mercy Eke has urged fans of the show to make another female winner and probably also to the female housemates of this season to bring their A-game so they can stand a winning chance.

Mercy was reacting to a tweet from Ebuka, host of the show, who shared photos of all five winners of the show and stated that another person will join the “exclusive bbnaija winners club” in the next 10 weeks to come.

To which Mercy reacted tweeting; “Let’s get another female winner shall we?”

Whiles some people seem to support Mercy’s agenda, others, however, are not in for the gender card and will support whoever entertains them.

MultiChoice Nigeria Explains Why BBNaija Dropped SMS Voting

10:57am GMT+1: SMS voting has always been the only way viewers of Big Brother Naija reality show voted for their favorite housemates but the case has changed this year. Organisers have said that there will be no SMS voting in the 6th Edition. Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, had this to say when asked about why SMS voting was scrapped:

At the end of the day, what we focus on is providing the best content for Africans by Africans. We would like to stay true to that and that is why everything we do revolve around that. We tried online voting for years, and last year, viewers were able to vote on the GOTYV and DSTV apps, and they were able to vote multipole ties. This year, we decided to change the format of voting so that every subscriber can vote for free on our apps. This year, we would be dropping the SMS voting and allow people to focus on the content we are providing.
