Benjamin Lee McAdoo is a former American football coach who worked as a consultant for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, as quarterbacks coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020, and offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers most recently.

McAdoo was born in the Pennsylvania town of Homer City. In 1995, he graduated from Homer-Center Junior/Senior High School. McAdoo studied health and physical education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). McAdoo went on to earn a master’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University.

While pursuing a master’s degree in kinesiology at Michigan State University, McAdoo worked as a graduate assistant for the Michigan State Spartans football team under head coach Bobby Williams. McAdoo earned his first collegiate coaching position as a graduate assistant for special teams and offense during the 2001 season.
McAdoo was the offensive line and tight ends coach at Fairfield University during the 2002 season, which was the Fairfield Stags’ final season. McAdoo joined the University of Pittsburgh as a graduate assistant under head coach Walt Harris in 2003, and he assisted the team in the 2003 Continental Tire Bowl.
