Bill Hader ex-wife: Who is Maggie Carey?

Hader and Maggie Carey, a writer, and filmmaker wed in 2006; the two are parents to three girls. Hader filed for divorce in December after they made their separation public in November 2017. The divorce was finalized at the end of the year.

From 2005 until 2013, Bill Hader was a member of the Saturday Night Live cast. During that period, he was nominated for four Primetime Emmys and one Peabody Award.

When he appeared on the Weekend Update segments as Stefon Meyers, a flamboyant New York tour guide who suggested exotic nightclubs and parties with quirky people and their unusual preferences, he garnered particular attention for his remarkable impressions.

Maggie Carey (born c. 1974/1975) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and actress. She has helmed comedy television shorts and the 2013 film The To Do List, which she also wrote and directed.

Carey grew up in the Idaho city of Boise. She attended Jackson Elementary and West Junior High before completing her high school education at Borah in 1993.

Carey described her high school experience as “I took every AP course that was offered. I was really active in sports. The student council included me. I played soccer and was an all-American.”

Carey also worked as a lifeguard at the Borah pool, a job that had an impact on her movie The To-Do List. The Jeannie Tate Show is an online series that Carey and Liz Cackowski started in 2007.

Carey was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade improv group in New York. Carey participated in the Improv Olympics West in Los Angeles as well as the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.

Female referees working youth soccer matches were the subject of four “Lady Refs” cartoons that Carey co-wrote and directed for Funny or Die Presents in 2011.

The To-Do List, a 2013 low-budget sex comedy written and directed by Carey, is set in her home state of Idaho in 1993 and stars a lead character who is the same age as Carey was at the time.
